Spook-a-Palooza—Saturday, October 15th

Canton Parks and Recreation is hosting a Halloween extravaganza at Mills Pond Park on October 15th from 10:30 am-11:30 am. There’s no better way to get into the Halloween spirit than with a live performance from Magician Matt Roberts. Wear your costumes and bring your pumpkin buckets for a table-to-table trick-or-treating session. This event is free and open to the public.

Mamabear Organics Treat or Treat—Saturday, October 22nd

Grab the kiddos and head over to Mamabear Organics on October 22nd from 2:30 pm-5:00 pm for an interactive Halloween trick-or-treat event. There will be a costume contest, face painting, and a special appearance and performance by Valentine the Clown. The MamaBear play studio will have Halloween-themed games and activities as well as multiple photo ops. Although this event is free and open to the public, pre-registration is encouraged. Give a Treat, Get a Treat—Monday, October 24th

The Shops at Farmington Valley is hosting its annual Give a Treat, Get a Treat Halloween event on October 24th from 4:30 pm-6:40 pm. Families are invited to donate non-perishable items for Gifts of Love in exchange for spooky treats and free goodies from participating businesses at The Shops. With the holidays right around the corner, this is the perfect event to get treats and sweets for the kids while paying it forward and helping others in need.


Kindred and Crew, a boutique fashion store, will have Halloween photo ops, a costume contest, and prizes for the family. Pups are welcome to participate with Halloween-themed treats from Woofgang Bakery and Groomer. While this event is free and open to the public, attendees are encouraged to pre-register beforehand to receive a wristband. Click here to learn more about this event and register.

 

Collinsville Halloween Parade—Saturday, October 29th

Join us for the 28th Annual Collinsville Halloween Parade! This beloved family-friendly event is held each year where hundreds of people gather to get into the Halloween spirit. Come dressed and ready to kick off Halloween weekend as we walk throughout the town. Families are welcome to explore neighborhood landmarks and businesses such as the Canton Historical Museum and Mama Bear Organics. Take a stroll and experience the town come to life with Halloween decorations, spooky tunes, and treats.

The parade will start at 7:00 pm and travel through Main Street and nearby roads.  Bring a flashlight, comfortable shoes and a sweater, and prepare for a spooky, fun-filled night!
